Tydal Data Center Strengthens Leadership Team in Preparation for Artificial Intelligence Era

New Board and CEO appointments mark next phase of company’s growth

OSLO, NORWAY: Tydal Data Center AS today announced the appointment of Markus Andersen as CEO and Board Director, with effect from November 1, 2025. Andersen was the principal architect of the new Tydal-2 data center, having designed the facility and overseen its construction and successful completion in record time.

Mona Hustad and Chao Suo have been appointed to the Board of Directors of Tydal Data Center AS, and its sister company Troll Housing AS. Haakon Bryhni continues to serve as Chairman of Tydal Data Center AS, alongside his role as Research Professor at SimulaMet.
Suo is a Board member of Tydal Data Center AS’s ultimate parent company, Bitdeer Technologies Group, and also serves as its Chief Operations Officer. Her appointment reflects the ultimate parent company’s strong commitment towards long-term ambitions for its Norwegian data centers to capture opportunities in artificial intelligence (AI) workloads.

Hustad is an authorized accountant with board experience from other Norwegian companies and a strong financial background. 
Additionally, Lars Naas, Chairman of Troll Housing AS, was recently appointed a Board Member of Bitdeer Technologies Group and its Vice President of Global Data Center operations.
